Private Yoga Lessons with Liz
A Mysore-style Ashtanga practitioner for 5 years, I adhere to the elements of the method and celebrate using proper pranayama, the intuitive subtle body, and endurance-based movements to bring forth a practice in the form of moving meditation. I accent my approach to teaching by drawing from ancient systems such as Ayurveda in an attempt to bridge the gap between the mind, body, soul and the modern world. I have studied and practiced with numerous authorized Ashtanga teachers around the country and completed my teacher training with Catarina Lecayo in Ostional, Nicaragua. Discovering that it is not just doing the practice, but HOW you practice that makes it sustainable.
